 Ten random thoughts right now:
1) I can't say that I love rap/hip-hop or even club music as much as you do, because I prefer r&b or sentimental rock and pop songs even more; but I can say I that I don't mind listening to the songs you love...
2) I can't buy you expensive gifts, bring you to posh dining places, nor take you travelling all around the world; but I could try to reach for each of them someday...
3) I can't drive you home without a car of my own; but I could have sent you home in a taxi first if you'd only let me do so...
4) I can't ever let you fall behind me because it'll just make me worried not being able to keep you in my sights; but I can walk with you at the back if you would only wanted me to...
5) I can't prevent the birds from scaring you when they take off so close to you; but I can walk in between so that you need not be afraid...
6) I can't stop the weird guys, and seemingly dangerous at times, on the street from harassing you; but I could have walked with you if you'd only ask me to...
7) I can't the smooth-talking guy who is able to strike a conversation with you because I often get brain-freeze when you have your eyes on me; but I can lend you my pair of ears anytime you need someone to listen to you...
8) I can't be the one to hold you in my arms when you're feeling tired and the seat feels uncomfortable; but I could have loan you my shoulder to lie on if you'd only do so...
9) I can't out-drink you with alcohol; but I can make sure I'm still sober after to look out for you...
10) I can't afford to let you know how much I'm in love with you because I risk to lose so much more instead; but I can say to myself that I'm totally crazy for you even if you do not realize it yet...

All that and more knowing how much you mean to me, yet always putting up a front to you hiding my true feelings. I get lost sometimes knowing that I can't express myself to you, yet a part of me yearns that you will realize even a portion of it~

Our grades for honours year was supposed to be out yesterday! But instead, we were told that results will be released as a class when EVERYONE hands in their copies of the thesis...pfft! >_< Instead, everyone (okay...a lil' exaggeration here) spent their time staring at the "academic results" screen willing it to show the grade in that empty white box~

In any case, I woke up today to try my luck again...and as luck will have it, results were finally released and all that hoping paid off with a 1st class honours in physiology! =D Long gone was the disappointment of not scoring for the critique exam (yeah, i'm not critical...) or the poster examination! 

On a side note, I recently received a confirmation that my abstract for a poster presentation was accepted for the Heart Foundation Conference 2011. Now if only the organization would sponsor my trip to Melbourne in March...woots! But then again, I'm kind of lazy to be doing up another poster for it...guess i'm still enjoying the weight off my shoulders after defense of thesis was over.

All that's left to do is wait till PhD scholarships results are out -crosses fingers-...

Yeah, 2nd day back in Adelaide. Home alone~ woots! Yesterday was definitely the worst...came home to find dust all over the carpet (which spans 3 storeys), things all over the place, pfft~! Had to do a major clean-up of the house. T_T

Firstly, I had to empty the filled vacuum bag to get the vacuum cleaner to work. You wouldn't want to know what kind of horror was in there. The kitchen too, eee yuck~

By the end of the day, I was so beat up...and I haven't slept a wink since the flight~ *snore* Now, I'm so tired of cleaning I decided to take a break from it! I'll clean the toilet tomorrow...maybe? =X
